Three Card Solutions

Turned messy enquiries into structured job requests: a four-step field survey that asks for the service, the sites, the timeline and the hardware before anyone sets off for a site.

The opening frame: the headline “A field crew that can drive for hours to reach a job.” above the live Three Card Solutions site, open at its Request a field survey section.

The film could not play here. Everything it shows is written on this page.

    The live site: threecardsolutions.com.

  2. The problem

Job requests arrived in any shape.

One missing detail could waste a whole trip.

Three illustrative requests, each missing details such as the service, sites, timeline or hardware.

  3. What William built

A four-step job request that asks what the crew needs to know.

The live form’s four steps light up in turn: Service, Sites, Timeline, Contact.

  4. The result

The form collects job details before the crew travels.

It opens in the customer’s own email, so they can add site photos.

The case in three points

The problem

Job requests arrived in any shape, so the crew could not always tell what to bring, and a slightly wrong job order could sink a long drive to a site.

What William changed

A four-step field-survey form that asks for the service, the sites, the timeline and the hardware, then opens in the customer’s own email so they can add site photos.

Delivery

An interactive prototype in two days and the finished site in two weeks, with the domain moved and no email lost.

In their words

TreOwner, Three Card Solutions0:45

“If you want someone to treat your business like his own, hire Will.”

Read the transcript

“Will was the real deal and a real pleasure to work with. He took us from [the previous website] to having a custom-built website designed exactly around our needs. I know he spent hours fine-tuning all the details, redrew our logo and handled our domain migration without any email interruption. Beyond that, Will wasn't just a developer: he made it clear he genuinely cares about the relationship and our success for the long term. Just for example, when we had a late-night server crisis, he jumped online and resolved the problem right away. He was extremely detail-oriented and communicated complex technical ideas in plain English. If you want someone to treat your business like his own, hire Will.”

Edited in square brackets: the platform Tre named is not confirmed, so it reads "the previous website".

The problem, and the fix

Before

  • Enquiries arrived in any shape, often without the details a site visit needs.
  • The crew could not always tell what to bring to a client site before setting off.
  • Sites can be a drive across several states away, so a slightly wrong job order could sink the visit.

After

  • A four-step field-survey request: what needs doing, how many sites and where on site, the timeline and who supplies the hardware, then contact details and the first site’s address or ZIP code.
  • The number of sites and the timeline are required, so every request states the scale and a rough timeline.
  • The visitor’s email app opens with the request filled in, ready for site photos or drawings, and a project lead calls back.

What the client received

  • A four-step field-survey form built around what the crew needs before it travels: the service, the number of sites, indoor, outdoor or vehicle work, the timeline, who supplies the hardware and the first site’s address or ZIP code
  • Each form request opens in the visitor’s own email in the same structure, with room to attach site photos or drawings before sending
  • An interactive prototype in two days and the finished site in two weeks, delivered remotely
  • The logo redrawn so it holds at small sizes
  • Domain moved off the previous website with the Google Workspace mail records verified against a pre-change capture
